S.W.A.T.™ Curative

Soil & water acid treatment.

S.W.A.T.™ Curative is a salt and bicarbonate remediation solution for use on turf and horticultural water and soils. S.W.A.T.™ Curative contains a unique chemistry which pairs a strong acid (HCl) with a proprietary acid to dissolve existing scale in the soil, as well as prevent the liberated cations from re-aggregating as either carbonate or oxide based scale in the soil.

  1. Regular use of S.W.A.T.™ Curative will aid in reducing bicarbonate and sodium levels in the soil

  2. Prevents cations in the water and soil from reforming into insoluble deposits in the soil

  3. Lowers pH of irrigation water and prevents hard water ions from contributing to the formation of scale

Directions and Usage

Gradually introduce with water maintaining the same pH values as the current treated water system is accustomed to. Add sparingly for re-solubilization (reducing 0.1 pH unit ea. week). Irrigation Injection Applications: Inject into the mainline irrigation or add to wet well in such a manner that 2-4 quarts of S.W.A.T.™ Curative is applied per acre per month. Use higher rates for soils containing higher levels of carbonate or oxide based aggregates. Use lower rates as carbonate and oxide based aggregates are decreased over time. Spray Applications: Apply S.W.A.T.™ Curative at 0.75 to 1.5 oz per 1,000 ft2 (32 oz to 64 oz per acre) in a minimum of 2 gallons of water / 1,000 ft2 (88 gal / acre). Apply S.W.A.T. Curative once per month or as needed throughout the growing season. Irrigate after each spray application to remove S.W.A.T.™ Curative from leaf surfaces.
