Matrix Tall Fescue Blend is suited for tough, transition zone growing conditions. It is recommended for use on sports fields, low to moderate maintenance corporate campuses, school grounds, parks roadsides and home lawns. It tolerates wet and dry soil conditions in sun or shade. All three varieties, when blended together, provide turf managers with a high-quality, widely adapted turf capable of performing well in a broad range of climatic conditions. The ability to withstand heavy traffic makes it an excellent choice for athletic turf and general play areas. It can be seeded in the spring or fall and persists under mowing heights of 2-3 inches. Tall fescues are known to be moderately salt-tolerant and able to grow in area of low fertility.
